Key Club

  • Mission and Goals: "Caring Our Way of Life"

The Key Club has a goal to complete one service activity each month.  They are also a club that focuses on building leadership in students.  The Key Club is part of an international student lead organization that is supported through Kiwanis.

They meet Tuesdays in the High School Room 119 during lunch on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month (schedule to vary based on different activities and timing).

The Key Club started brand new last year and has had many great achievements since they began their mission.  Some of these great feats include:

    • Participation in Geofest in April of 2015 by running inernational games for kids and families that attended

    • Planted flower boxes along the entryway to the High School and coodinated a clean up day of the area where they pulled weeds and picked up trash

    • In September 2015, they painted the picnic tables at the High School to protect them from the elements and make them welcoming

    • In October 2015, they hosted a family night to simulate what a community center would look like in Estes Park

    • In November 2015, they hosted a food drive for Crossroads and collected $521.00 and 1,356 pounds of food and also had a key leader Lock In at the school where the club officers did a team building and leadership activity for their club

    • In December 2015, they made reindeers out of candy and holiday cards that we will be delivering to Prospect Park

    • In January 2016, they volunteered at the Kid's Pavilion of the Winter Festival held at the Estes Park Events Complex, and Key Club leader Pam Frey and her husband Joe cooked up some chili in both Saturday and Sunday's Chili Competitions.
