    The Larimer County Workforce Center and the Larimer County Conservation Corps (LCCC) have several summer employment opportunities for youth and young adults ages, 14-25.  These positions are paid and have application deadlines in April 2017.

    The Larimer County Workforce Center has two summer internship programs for high school students:

    • High School Summer Internship Program (ages 16-18) is summer internship program for high school students with an interest in advanced manufacturing or engineering. The program is sponsored by the NoCo Manufacturing Sector Partnership and regional manufacturers. The internship is competitive and pays $10 per hour!  See the attached flyer for more information and a link to the application. Applications close on April 7, 2017.     • Community Summer Internship Program (ages 16-18) is a summer internship program for income eligible high school students in Larimer County. The program will provide participants with work readiness training followed by a paid summer internship at a local business in a field of interest! Interns will be working 25 hours per week for up to 10 weeks earning $10 per hour.  Space is limited!  Applications submitted prior to April 10th will be given first priority.  Apply online or in person at a Larimer County Workforce Center today!  CLICK HERE

    The Larimer County Conservation Corps (LCCC) is recruiting youth and young adults to serve on various conservation projects this summer! Currently, we are offering the following corpsmember positions:

    • AgriCorps (ages 14-16): Part-time service opportunity for youth for four weeks at various farms & community gardens to help with sustainable food production.

    • Land (ages 16-18): Full-time service opportunity for young adults who contribute  to trail building and maintenance, habitat restoration, and invasive species removal. Includes up to seven weeks of camping Monday-Thursday.

    • RMNP Land (ages 18-25): Service opportunity for young adults who will complete trail building and maintenance projects in Rocky Mountain National Park and includes camping Monday-Thursday for the summer, some of which may include backcountry camping.

    • Sawyer (ages 18-25): Intensive chainsaw program provides young adults with a full-time summer service opportunity. Once trained in S-212 Chainsaw Certification, corpsmembers perform fire mitigation and hazard tree removal projects and will include camping for for eight weeks, Monday-Thursday.
