  • The Computer Information Systems department is committed to providing the highest quality technology services and support, thereby enhancing the operation, management, research, and educational capabilities within the district. 

    The Estes Park School District R-3 Computer Information Systems (CIS) department is dedicated to providing technology services to the district in support of its academic mission. As technology continues to become a strategic tool in teaching, and administration, it is important that technology implementation and support be effective, timely, and cost-efficient.

    Through its strategic planning process, CIS has adopted the following goals:

    • Networking Infrastructure: Implement a high-speed, reliable networking infrastructure that meets or exceeds the current and future requirements for academics and administration.  

    • Application Infrastructure: Establish a systems infrastructure in support of providing highly available and secure applications, web sites, and data repositories 

    • Administration: Increase the efficiency and effectiveness of administrative tasks and information retrieval at the district through implementation of technology and improved business processes. 

    • Customer Service: Work in partnership across campus to create a campus-wide support infrastructure for technology and telecommunications that will increase support and services to faculty, staff, and students.
